About this space

Mezzanine, an Event Space in The Refinery New Street Square, is an intimate lounge-style private room defined by banquette seating and soft wall-mounted lighting.

Design: The room has low ceilings, textured grey walls and a deep-pile carpet that create a contained, quiet interior. The space displays contemporary artwork and muted wall lamps that give an understated, lounge-like appearance.

Features: The space includes venue Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and a flexible layout of loose chairs and low round tables that can be arranged for informal seating or mingling. The room has a sideboard area suitable for staging drinks or canapés and discreet lighting that can be softened for private gatherings.

Ideal for: Small corporate groups and close-knit social groups seeking a relaxed, lounge-style setting that supports both seated conversation and informal standing reception.

What sets it apart: The mezzanine occupies a raised, separate level that keeps a booking visually and acoustically distinct from the main restaurant.

What guests say: The space benefits from attentive, organised on-site staff and straightforward event coordination that simplify planning and execution. The room's atmosphere is welcoming and well suited to group gatherings.
