The Angel & Crown is a spacious yet intimate setting, blending retro charm with a lively atmosphere. With both indoor and outdoor areas, it can comfortably host up to 35 seated guests or around 120 standing. The bar is conveniently positioned to one side, leaving plenty of room for guests to mingle, dance, and dine with ease. At the heart of the venue, you’ll find a DJ booth and projector setup - perfect for live entertainment, presentations, or special moments. You will be able to bring in external DJs (or we can source one for you) or simply play your favourite playlist.
Surrounded by large windows, the space is filled with natural light and character. During the warmer months, the layout encourages a seamless flow between the indoor area and our inviting outdoor space, creating a vibrant, open feel.
To secure your booking, you have two flexible options:
– Cover the minimum spend in advance. This starts from only £1,000, depending on day of the week/time of the year, and includes a complimentary bar of £100
– Or pay a refundable deposit equivalent to approximately half of the minimum spend for the day, ideal if you'd like your guests to buy their own drinks/food or chip in. The deposit is fully refundable if the minimum spend is reached during the day, or partially used if not (though it rarely isn’t!). This option too comes with a complimentary bar tab of £100. Hiring an entire venue for free is a bargain, isn't it?
