About this space

The Rec Room is a semi-private event space in Knowles of Norwood that is separated from the main bar by an open shelving partition to create a discreet lounge pocket.

Design: The space pairs timber slatted ceilings and white subway tiles with exposed brick and velvet banquette seating for a contemporary industrial look. Soft string lighting and curated decorative objects provide low-level, intimate illumination.

Features: The Rec Room has built-in banquette seating and freestanding tables arranged around a wall-mounted TV suitable for media or presentations. The space includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and access to accessible toilets, and benefits from natural daylight.

Ideal for: Small groups looking for a relaxed, social layout for seated meals or informal drinks.

What guests say: The space is relaxed and comfortable, and the staff are attentive and welcoming.
