About this space

The Refectory is a semi‑private event space in Knowles of Norwood defined by industrial‑chic finishes and high ceilings.

Design: The room features exposed ducting and pendant lighting over a herringbone timber floor, with potted plants and a mix of round wooden tables, high stools and upholstered chairs that form distinct seating zones.

Features: The Refectory provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, a step‑free guest entrance and accessible toilets. The space includes movable tables and mixed‑height seating that can be rearranged to create separate dining or standing areas.

Ideal for: Neighbourhood groups and small work teams seeking a relaxed, social setting for informal seated meals or casual standing receptions.

What sets it apart: A continuous run of full‑height glazing along one wall floods the area with daylight.

What guests say: The Refectory is relaxed and comfortable with a calm, social atmosphere, and the venue pairs that atmosphere with welcoming, attentive service.
