About this space

Bathroom — Lounge in The Cocktail Club Old Street. A compact, low-ceilinged brick-lined lounge that functions as a private cellar snug.

Design: The space has exposed brick walls, patterned tiled flooring, low ceilings and dim, warm lighting that create close, conversational proportions. The furnishing pairs small round metal-topped tables with low upholstered stools and a narrow banquette.

Features: The room provides mixed lounge seating, movable low stools and several small tables arranged for drinks and small plates. In-room Wi‑Fi and candle-top lighting support private, low-key gatherings.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking a relaxed, cocktail-style or seated lounge gathering in an intimate, informal setting.

What sets it apart: A restored freestanding bathtub and a decorative period basin act as distinctive focal pieces and unconventional seating features.

What guests say: The space feels lively without being crowded and maintains an intimate, well-kept character.

The space was nice, music was decent and the cocktails were delicious. Elinor was very helpful in setting everything up.

One of the bar staff was quite rude and dismissive when ordering drinks, but her manager was quick to de-escalate.
