The Studio at Exhibit

Great venue for around 28 guests for a 30th Birthday on the mezzanine, everyone had a good evening and commented on how great the venue was.

As it was a surprise party, the guests arrived around 45 minuets before me, The bar upstairs is limited on drinks and no one was serving initially. No one informed the guests on arrival that you had to mention you were from the mezzanine in order for it to come off the minimum spend when ordering from the bar downstairs. lots of people had bought a good few rounds of drinks downstairs before we were made aware. The Venue did knock reluctantly take £150 off the min spend to account for this but the value of drinks purchased downstairs would have definitely been higher

The communication was prompt during booking process. On the actual day of our event we had the brilliant Yaya behind the bar. She went above and beyond to aid us. The floor manager (her name escapes me) was also good. She tried to accommodate our needs with a Spotify playlist. She also ensured our catering was the last thing to come out of the kitchen. This way it was nice and hot for our party. The food was also good.

Unfortunately when the floor manager left for the evening we were told that our playlists would not be accommodated, despite every effort to ensure it was commercial and “inclusive”…I mean, who on earth would be offended by a kiss fm playlist . Due to the music our guests started leaving and ultimately rendered the party finished 2 hours early. So we took the party around the corner to another bar. Also, the ladies toilet is on the top floor of the building! I’d suggest turning the male WC into a unisex.

The staff were very helpful and professional, nothing was too much for them to handle. The member of staff assigned to us was Hannah, she was amazing and so patient with our group. I cannot praise her enough. I would definitely recommend this venue to family and friends.

From start to finish the team were brilliant in organising the day, answering questions and supporting with the booking. On the day they were spectacular in hosting and making sure the event was just right. All guests and vendors were happy with the venue and the staff!
