The Jabberwocky at The March Hare
About this space
The Jabberwocky is a lounge in The March Hare and serves as a semi-private backroom that offers a more secluded, low-lit setting separate from the main bar.
Design: The space combines dark hardwood floors and low ceilings with patterned floral panelling and upholstered seating to create compact, intimate proportions. The fit-out uses vintage-style stools, framed artwork and small area rugs that keep the room visually focused and contained.
Features: The room includes air conditioning and on-site Wi‑Fi and is equipped with a PA system and speakers. The room permits use of its own music or a hired DJ and can receive food and drink service from the venue. The space also allows table service and has provisions for in-room beverage service.
Ideal for: Small, sociable groups seeking a relaxed, drinks-led evening or an informal standing reception with background or DJ-led music.
What guests say: The space's cocktails are consistently well made and the staff are attentive. The room provides lively music and a social atmosphere.
