Research Studio is a Blank Canvas studio in Siobhan Davies Dance Studios, defined by a wide, unobstructed rehearsal floor that adapts easily to different layouts.

Our spaces are available for hire subject to availability.

Please note that we can apply for a temporary extension for our building to remain open on Fridays and Saturdays until 12am, but we are unable to take bookings for hires past this time.

Additional Space Information:

Neither the Roof Studio nor the Research Studio are equipped with barres or mirrors but audio-visual equipment can be made available to suit your needs. Our experienced Studios team can help you to make sure your rehearsal, workshop or class runs smoothly.

We have a kitchenette available, which has a functioning microwave, kettle, fridge, sink and kitchen equipment/utensils.

Our nearest tube and rail station is Elephant and Castle which is a 5-minute walk from the station. Other nearby stations are Waterloo and Lambeth North. There are cafes and shops in the surrounding area.

We also have a car parking space subject to availability.

The venue is beautiful, clean and organised, it has everything you need within the space, very accommodating. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions very quickly. Location is excellent with good transport links.

We didn't know there would be a Bachata dancing class with very loud music playing for the duration of our event. Unfortunately many of our attendees heard the music. Understandably it was also a very hot day and they had to have the door open to their class, however we had kindly asked to lower their volume a little bit but we heard no difference. Otherwise the space was excellent and we will consider it again for future events.
