About this space

The Skatepark & Studio is an Event Space in School of Skate Copeland Park centred on permanent wooden skate ramps and banked riding surfaces.

Design: The interior is an open-plan industrial space with high ceilings, exposed rafters and pale plywood surfacing on walls and riding areas. The lighting mixes skylights and linear fixtures to create clear sightlines across the floor.

Features: The Skatepark & Studio includes a PA system and speakers and allows own music or a brought-in DJ. The space provides on-site Wi‑Fi, step-free guest access, wheelchair-accessible facilities and accessible toilets. The open floorplan and unobstructed sightlines support demonstrations, coaching and spectator viewing.

Ideal for: Families and youth groups seeking an active, informal session that combines participant activity with room for spectators.

What guests say: The Skatepark & Studio provides broad sightlines and an upper room that functions as a spectator and breakout area.

Nothing bad to say about this venue. Incredibly accommodating to our needs and let us set up however we wanted. Easy access to food and the staff working the venue to help support are just great. They also get involved in what ever event your hosting and really want to make your experience the best it can be. 10/10 would recommend for communities to utilise
