The Crown is located on Blackfriars road, a 1 minute walk from Southwark station and a 4 minute walk from Waterloo station.

We can offer full venue hire on weekends which includes our secluded beer garden. The pub has a capacity of 168 people and we are able to host any type of event. We can also host parties and events throughout the week. We are a true London pub with very welcoming and accommodating staff.

This venue was perfect for our engagement party! Laura was amazing, we had great communication leading up to the event. The staff were all SO lovely! Even my guests commented on how friendly everyone was. I would definitely recommend here and would book here again for myself. Thank you for helping us to host such a great party!

It’s is such a lovely pub and the staff are so friendly and relaxed. It’s such a welcoming place with a lovely beer garden (which saved us as temperatures on party night were over 30!)

My friend and I hosted a joint birthday party at the Crown in August. We are so so pleased with the staff and venue! Laura was particularly helpful. The pub is gorgeous with a real relaxed vibe and we were able to bring whatever food and decorations we wanted as well as set up our own playlist. The event was seamless and all staff were really friendly and lovely. We’d really recommend this to anyone looking to host an event. The minimum spend is extremely reasonable and service was wonderful. Thank you Laura and team!

Great venue, located right by Southwark station so guest had no problem at all getting to the venue. Outside area in the front and back of the pub really added to the space. Laura who I was dealing with for the booking was extremely helpful and accommodating. Great value for money, drinks reasonably priced for London too. The space is really a good base where you can do up the space to suit what event you are hosting. I had my baby shower here which was jungle theme and it went really well with some of the deco in the space already. Staff extremely friendly and helpful - will definitely come back!
