Space features
The Railroad is a semi-private lounge in Draughts Waterloo that centres on a game-focused layout, offering dedicated seating and table arrangements tailored for board play.
Design: The lounge pairs curved timber-clad arches with low pendant lights and orange upholstered banquettes, producing a compact, warm interior defined by narrow proportions and practical table runs.
Features: The space includes venue Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, a PA system and the option to play your own music or bring a DJ, plus table service and app ordering to seats. The area is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets and a step-free guest entrance.
Ideal for: Intimate groups seeking relaxed, seated game sessions and social catch-ups where conversation and table play are the focus.
What sets it apart: A built-in lower shelf beneath each table provides dedicated storage for game boxes and food, keeping play surfaces clear during long sessions.
What guests say: The lounge has spacious tables suited to immersive play, a lively, energetic atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff.
