Happy hour between 4 and 8 pm. Music to suit broad tastes. Beer pong tables. Welcoming staff and friendly service.
No beers or ciders on tap at the private bar.
+ the venue was great, not too many people at the start, very accommodating barman and staff upstairs (e.g. when asked to show the football game on the TV) + DJ was playing great music and everyone really enjoyed it + the food (platters) was actually really tasty and there was plenty of it + the manager on duty was really nice and let us bring upstairs as many people as we wanted + great offers on drink from the start
- glasses/plates were pilling up on the tables at some point - the professional photographer arrived a bit late (1am?) and he didn't go upstairs to take pictures of our party (I just saw him downstairs towards the end), it would have been amazing for us if he had taken more pictures of our guests (he did take some when we were dancing downstairs) or just of us when blowing out the candles!

About Trapeze Bar
Set over 3 levels and bathed in faded circus glamour. We aim to excite and delight! On the ground floor you'll find a creative cocktail list, simple but tasty menu and a spectacular party. While downstairs, every weekend we host some of london's best promoter and world's finest DJs on a great sound system.
Our inspiration comes from one of the UK's oldest circus schools which is based very close to us in Hoxton Square - national centre for circus arts. This school has trained over 50,000 performers across the across the world since it opened in the arts of Trapeze, Tightrope walking, unicycle, rope, silks, globe walking, juggling and much more!
We hope to create a show of our own within Trapeze with our mixture of food, drink, music and entertainment and give people something interesting and unique to see and talk about in Shoreditch and in London!
