About this space

The Bush Theatre is a producing theatre focused on developing and presenting new playwrights' work and new plays.

Design: The interior pairs high ceilings and tall windows with timber floors and exposed pendant lighting. The layout uses a mix of café-style tables and informal seating to create flexible, communal public areas.

Features: The venue contains two flexible performance spaces, a library bar and café, an in-house PA/sound system and venue Wi‑Fi. The venue permits own music or a hired DJ and provides wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Theatre companies and creative organisations seeking intimate, performance-centred evenings that combine seated performance and informal socialising.

What sets it apart: An on-site public script library is housed alongside the venue's performance spaces.

What guests say: The venue has a welcoming neighbourhood atmosphere and accommodating, helpful staff.
