The exposed brick walls, industrial windows & high ceilings provide the stylish aesthetics to match the high-end audiovisual support provided by our tech team. They're ready for any presentation, panel, live performance, live streaming or recording you've got to throw at them.
Lay out tables in cabaret style for 100 across the 2000 sq ft space, or seat your guests in theatre style to fill the room for 200, with full accessibility and a small kitchenette to support them throughout the day.
We’re 2 minutes from King’s Cross, St Pancras station. And, when we’re not hosting you, your hire helps us serve the local King’s Cross communities. The ground floor of the building provides a home for community activities & specialised services supporting people from all walks of life, including a debt centre, support for refugees and asylum seekers, a therapy clinic for those with additional needs, family support & help for those within the criminal justice system. Every booking fuels this ongoing story of new life.

What’s Included:
Facilities: Exclusive use of the Upper Room and 2 dedicated staff members to facilitate your event.
Standard AV Suite:
- Dual 65" TVs and a large 150" projector screen.
- Wireless handheld microphones and stage lighting.
- ProPresenter software and HDMI connectivity.
Staffing: Assistance with set up, orientation, venue management and pack down (ensure your booking duration covers these periods).

Quote includes mandatory Post-Event Cleaning fee of £150.
(Optional add-on, not reflected in price) Refreshments: Unlimited tea and coffee available at £3.50 per person
VAT: +20% VAT brings the total to £2580
Booking Security: A 20% deposit is required to secure your date, followed by the remaining costs and a refundable 20% security surcharge 30 days out from the event.
Catering & Advanced Tech:
We operate as a dry-hire venue. You are welcome to bring in external caterers (provided they have Public Liability Insurance and complete a site visit), or you can choose from our list of pre-approved recommended caterers.
For high-spec needs, Advanced AV (live streaming, video recording, and live music support) is available at an additional cost.
In addition to the Conference & Events (4 hour minimum hire), this Standard package includes an additional technician to do one of the following:
- Support Live Music at your event.
- Support Standard Live Streaming. Ideal for simple broadcasts. Includes a single-camera live stream to YouTube plus a high-quality audio and video recording of the session.
More advanced live music and/or live streaming will require the Intermediate or Advanced packages.

A dynamic multi-angle experience. Features a full video mixed capture using four cinema cameras (three static, one operated) for both the live YouTube stream and the final recording. (Includes +2-3 technicians)

The room comes as a dry-hire; any production & AV can be added as extras. The room is flexible: it can be set up in theatre, cabaret, classroom or board room layouts. We are set-up for live streaming.
Rates given assume a minimum hire for 4 hours. Bookings must finish and vacate the building by 11pm.
Because King's House is all about providing hope & support to more vulnerable members of the community & local area, we do not accept bookings relating to industries that have a detrimental impact on the welfare of individuals. No sweepstake, raffle, tombola, lottery or other form of gambling is to be permitted without prior consent. For this reason the hirer must honestly declare and fully represent at the outset the purpose for hiring the space - any actual or apparent misrepresentation may result in a cancellation of a booking without further liability.
