About this space
Our Basement club comes with its own private entrance, bar, toilet and cloakroom facilities. It is very much a blank canvas, making it flexible for themed events, various entertainment, different layouts and a number of guests. It can act as a lounge area for smaller parties with our plush furniture and candle-lit tables, or is perfect as a huge dance-floor for bigger groups, with a capacity of 200 guests. The legendary sound-system has already hosted world class artists and DJs.

Welcome to Shoreditch's home of circus entertainment and unique fun this Christmas. We aim to excite and delight with our fantastical shows, gastronomical food and boast the weirdest and wonderful cocktails.
We have a veritable fairground of surprises in store for you, from our talented circus performers and resident DJs, to our Winter Carnival extravaganza and Moulin Rouge inspired den of festive sin!
Trapeze welcome private parties and invites for Shared Christmas Parties!
We can accommodate parties of 5 to 550 so come and party with us this Christmas and experience something SPECTACULAR.
BASEMENT CLUB comes fully equipped with fixed seating (for shared Christmas party), its own entrance and cloakroom and also brand new fancy pants effects lighting for all of you hot stepper!

Cancellation policy
Cancellation fee payable to the venue depending on the notice period:
- 7+ days prior to the event No fee, guest receives full refund
- 1 - 6 days prior to the event Fee payable is 50% of total hire cost
- Less than 1 day prior to the event Fee payable is 100% of total hire cost

About Trapeze Bar
Set over 3 levels and bathed in faded circus glamour. We aim to excite and delight! On the ground floor you'll find a creative cocktail list, simple but tasty menu and a spectacular party. While downstairs, every weekend we host some of london's best promoter and world's finest DJs on a great sound system.
Our inspiration comes from one of the UK's oldest circus schools which is based very close to us in Hoxton Square - national centre for circus arts. This school has trained over 50,000 performers across the across the world since it opened in the arts of Trapeze, Tightrope walking, unicycle, rope, silks, globe walking, juggling and much more!
We hope to create a show of our own within Trapeze with our mixture of food, drink, music and entertainment and give people something interesting and unique to see and talk about in Shoreditch and in London!
