About this space

The lower deck includes exclusive use of the stage area and audience space and is the perfect space for events, live music, cabaret, theatre, parties and weddings. If you intend to host a performance, there is a dressing room available. The lower deck can seat 70 guests, and more at a squeeze. The whole boat’s capacity is 150. The space is available to hire from 10am up to midnight (11pm on Sunday- Thursdays).

All hopes of having a great time were met with ease at the Battersea barge. From communication about viewing the venue (which they recommended) to testing the audio prior to the event, pre-ordering and food/drinks - everything sailed smoothly. As soon as interest was expressed, detailed information was shared with regards to options and next steps. The setting of the barge can’t be beaten and everyone who visited remarked on how unique and nice the place was. Thirsty guests found themselves a nice drink at the bar; hungry ones munched on some pizzas and garlic bread; breathless ones climbed to the terrace to steal some stunning views of the city line. The sound system at the venue was perfect and I played music from my phone. The staff were very friendly and patient. From greeting upon arrival to ensuring that everyone on board was having a good time. Kudos to the team who run this place. It’s definitely a spot to regular. Overall a 10/10 experience. Had a memorable evening.
Chips / fries would be a nice add to the food menu.

The newly refurbished Battersea Barge is a unique venue in Nine Elms on the Thames. We are docked between Chelsea and Vauxhall Bridge, by the new Battersea Power & Nine Elms tube Stations as well as Vauxhall. We offer views of the Battersea Power Station & City.

With food, drinks and a stage it’s the perfect venue for riverside weddings (we are licensed), parties & shows – music, comedy, cabaret or theatre.
