The Lower Deck comes complete with a stage, sound and lighting, and access to a fully licensed bar — everything you need for a celebration, performance, or gathering with a touch of personality. It’s perfect for weddings, parties, live events, and any occasion where atmosphere matters. The space seats up to 70 guests, or more for a standing event.

If you’d like to invite a bigger crowd, you can make use of the rest of the boat too — together, the Battersea Barge can host up to 150 guests.

Available to hire from 10am until midnight (11pm Sunday to Thursday), it’s a one-of-a-kind setting that’s ready to make your event unforgettable.

All hopes of having a great time were met with ease at the Battersea barge. From communication about viewing the venue (which they recommended) to testing the audio prior to the event, pre-ordering and food/drinks - everything sailed smoothly. As soon as interest was expressed, detailed information was shared with regards to options and next steps. The setting of the barge can’t be beaten and everyone who visited remarked on how unique and nice the place was. Thirsty guests found themselves a nice drink at the bar; hungry ones munched on some pizzas and garlic bread; breathless ones climbed to the terrace to steal some stunning views of the city line. The sound system at the venue was perfect and I played music from my phone. The staff were very friendly and patient. From greeting upon arrival to ensuring that everyone on board was having a good time. Kudos to the team who run this place. It’s definitely a spot to regular. Overall a 10/10 experience. Had a memorable evening.
Chips / fries would be a nice add to the food menu.
