The main hall at Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert's offers an enchanting and beautiful setting for a variety of events not limited to weddings, private dining, parties and theatre performances. A thoughtful design and renovation process under interior designer Isle Crawford has resulted in a unique yet flexible space that is immediately warm and welcoming.

With access to a professional standard kitchen, this venue is fully equipped for all levels of catering and has been popular with functions including sit-down supper clubs to drinks receptions. A tasteful collection of hard and soft furnishings makes Refettorio Felix a flexible venue, able to host your particular needs.

The venue can accommodate a range of layouts including reception, theatre, dining and conference styles. As a rough guide, the standing capacity is 150 people and seated capacity is 80. The space also includes a stage area perfect for performances, live music and more.

Great space which is open and light. Everything we needed to put on our event was available and the team were super helpful in making sure that we had everything we needed both before and on the day itself. The party itself ran really smoothly and was a lot of fun. I think this is great value for money as a space.

Yes, DJs are permitted. Performers are recommended to bring their own speakers because the venue’s PA system is not best suited to live performance.

The venue’s tables are particularly heavy and unsuitable for moving around the venue, let alone taking them outside. External table and chair hire cannot be accommodated.
