Having the whole venue to yourself at St Ethelburga's is a magical experience.
Move freely between the Courtyard Garden and the Nave, impress your guests with an entrance through the the garden before the main event in the Nave. Use the heated Bedouin Tent as the perfect breakout space, or as a changing area. We'll have someone on site to help make sure your event is a success!
--The Nave--
A fantastic multi-purpose space that can be used for dinners, meetings, conferences, workshops, talks as well as parties, concerts and music events.
The space provides a unique setting, a combination of the original church structure framed by modern glass and white walls. Its high ceilings, original arches, a stained-glass window and fascinating history provide a wonderful atmosphere. Though fairly large, the space has a cosy feeling, suitable for smaller groups. Adjacent to the nave is the annex which is a perfect break out space, reception or refreshments area.
The space is equipped with a lectern, uplighters, flip charts and an upright piano. It benefits from fast WIFI, a Bose professional sound-system, an HD laser projector and wireless microphones.
--The Bedouin Tent & Garden--
The Tent is a unique space located just a stone's throw from the thoroughfare of Bishopsgate and Liverpool St. Station. A 16-sided structure, made in Saudi Arabia and covered in woven goat's hair, the tent is a peaceful space ideal for meetings, workshops/training events, along with the stunning garden courtyard - a real oasis in the City!
It is carpeted and fully heated, with atmospheric lighting. The tent is circular with cushioned bench seating around the edge. There are no tables in the tent and people are asked to remove their shoes before entering.
The undercover glass foyer that overlooks the courtyard may be used for refreshments or to lay out items on a table.

Nave: £130/hr || Tent & Garden £75/hr || Entire Venue £200/hr
Charity & individual pricing
Nave: £110/hr || Tent & Garden £65/hr || Entire Venue £170/hr
All bookings are subject to a minimum of 4 hours.
Bookings ending after 18:00 are subject to an evening baserate of:
Tent & Garden only: £100
Nave only: Sun-Fri: £200 | Sat: £300
Entire Venue: Sun-Fri: £300 | Sat: £400
If your booking overlaps with a fixed slot, the entire slot must be booked.
Fixed slots are: 08:00 - 12:00 || 13:00 - 17:00 || 18:00 - 22:00

- Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vaping) is strictly forbidden in any part of the building or Tent, but is permitted in the courtyard garden or outside the front entrance on Bishopsgate
- No Helium Balloons
- No blu tack
- No Candles inside Tent or Inner Courtyard. Candles are permitted in the outer
courtyard and other areas when in a container higher than the flame. They should
not be placed near/under plants or in thoroughfares
- No Shoes inside Tent. We kindly ask all guests and organisers to remove their
shoes before entering the Bedouin Tent
- Set-up and clear-up time is included in the booked slot. The space will not be accessible before this time
- The space must be left as found
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
