About this space

BSMT is an urban art gallery focused on contemporary street and urban work presented in a compact, practical exhibition space that prioritises direct engagement with artwork.

Design: The gallery uses grey plaster walls, a dark-painted ceiling and a dark floor to create a neutral, industrial backdrop for framed pieces. The interior is compact and pared-back, producing close sightlines and an informal, hands-on presentation.

Features: The space includes a prominent front display window and a modular hanging layout suited to rotating exhibitions. The venue provides gallery-style track lighting, Wi‑Fi and wheelchair access, and a small staffed bar area is available in the ground-floor space.

Ideal for: Artists, collectors and small social groups seeking an intimate, relaxed standing reception or informal exhibition viewing.

What sets it apart: On-site professional framing and curatorial support that operates alongside exhibitions and assists artists and collectors.

What guests say: The gallery presents a warm, personable atmosphere and friendly, approachable staff. The space delivers a neighbourhood-level hospitality that makes visits feel welcoming and personal.

Greg couldn't have been more helpful or supportive in helping with us with the planning and booking of the venue. Super nice guy, great venue, good layout for exhibitions and Greg's communication was spot-on which is so good when there's lots going on for an exhibition.

Really amazing place. If you want to make the exhibition more interesting- that is the perfect place. Very cozy and unusual to other galleries. Really good location and very helpful owners.
