It is conveniently situated between Broadway Market and Columbia Road on an exciting stretch of the Hackney Road that includes nearby award-winning restaurant Morito’s.

The space is designed to showcase the work of artists, designers and crafters, in some cases those with a connection to Batsford Publishing. Early exhibitors include the artist Vaughan Grylls and a student artists’ event organised by The Filthy Fox Auction Club.

The main gallery space is approximately 15m x 4m. There is another area at the bottom of the stairs that can be used as additional exhibition space and/or workshop, or as a drinks reception area.

There is a small kitchenette and a large fridge. There is also a small cloakroom and a storage area that is used by the bookshop but can also be used by exhibitors.

The gallery is accessed via the bookshop. However, there is a convenient loading bay at the rear of the property. There is Wi-Fi in the shop and in front of the gallery. There are roll-down shutters at the front and back of the property, with no other access to the gallery.
