Absolutely perfect event! The venue is beautiful and the food was amazing but what really sets Betty Blythe apart is the attention to detail, and what warm and accomodating hosts they are. Cannot recommend enough for an event, or just a beautiful afternoon tea!

Great venue and concept. staff are friendly and accommodating. The venue is nice and well decorated and food was not bad for the price we paid.

Wasn’t enough sandwiches for the amount of people we had and they are so tiny. Not sure what they do with the rest of the bread. Would be nice to have more meat filling options. Downstairs area is not as nice as upstairs. They need to improve the decor and add a few more better dress up items. Only one toilet downstairs so everyone from upstairs comes has to come down and queue while we are having our tea. But my main gripe is the booking process because they will only have email contact with you so we ended up going back and forth for weeks. Why they can’t call or allow you to speak to someone is ridiculous and just made the whole process painful.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I arranged a baby shower to be held here and it was perfect. We had a room to ourselves downstairs, which was beautifully decorated with vintage furniture and clothing. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The only slight negative is that was a little tricky to find from the station, but that could just be my poor map reading skills! But absolutely no negatives regarding the venue itself.

Missy was very helpful, answered all my emails promptly and helped me plan the perfect baby shower!
