Rules of the space

Host rules

An event booking is confirmed only when the signed contract has been returned and the required deposit received. Until both are received, the Club cannot guarantee the reservation of the space or date. Hire applies only to the specific room(s) stated in the contract.

For private events, access is granted from the scheduled event start time. Collections must take place during normal operating hours; Sunday collections may incur an additional fee.

Security is mandatory for events with 80 guests or more and events in the Ground Floor Bar. Security personnel are charged at £180 per operative. The Club may increase security requirements where necessary for safety.

The Club’s standard licence permits operation until 12:00am. Extensions may be available: 1:00am – £150; 2:00am – £250. Extensions are subject to Westminster Council approval and availability and cannot be guaranteed. Bar service will cease 30 minutes before the event end time. The rooftop terrace closes at 11:00pm.

Where a minimum spend applies, any shortfall will be payable on the day.

• A deposit is required to secure all bookings and must be paid within 48 hours of confirmation.
• Final balance due 2 weeks before the event date.
• Card payments; BACS transfers for transactions over £10,000.
Outstanding balances must be cleared before or on the event day. The Club reserves the right to charge statutory interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Cancellation: more than 30 days before the event – full refund of payments excluding deposit; within 30 days – payments are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 weeks before the event, subject to venue availability, and the Club may apply revised pricing.

All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. A 15% service charge applies to additional food or beverage orders placed during the event.
