About this space

Set in 200 hundred acres of stunning parkland, yet within easy reach of Central London, Pump House Gallery offers an exceptional, unique and tranquil setting for your event. With its beautiful views over the lake and the Pump House Lawn, Pump House Gallery provides a unique and distinctive setting for events including marriage and civil partnership ceremonies, wedding receptions, corporate events, office summer parties, birthday parties, product launches and press briefings.

The gallery is a blank canvas throughout the four floors, allowing you to make the space your own! The floors in the gallery get used for a variety of things such as a bar, cloakroom, children’s area or dancefloor. It is the only Grade 11* listed building in the Park and makes for a very memorable event!

We operate on a dry hire basis, which would be exclusive to you and your party. All catering, florists and so on are not included in our venue hire. We have a fantastic list of recommended suppliers who work here in the park often, but you are also welcome to use your own suppliers provided they have the relevant documents we require. We do not charge a corkage fee.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience hosting our event at the Pump House Gallery. From the very beginning, the event team were exceptional, friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They gave us a thorough tour of the venue before we booked, patiently answered all our questions, and made us feel confident in our decision. The venue itself was perfect. Not only is it beautifully located in the stunning Battersea Park, but it also offered the flexibility we needed to make the day our own. The team provided a list of approved vendors, which made planning and governance much easier. We were able to bring in personal touches like a pizza van, ice cream vendor, and even a bouncy castle, all of which added to the fun and relaxed atmosphere. We were lucky with the weather, but it was reassuring to know there was ample indoor space to accommodate our guests if needed. On the day, the event team truly went above and beyond. They assisted with setup and teardown, were always available when needed, and even helped shuttle guests who required assistance. Thanks again to everyone who helped make our day so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more supportive team!

The Pump House was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue - it has a uniqueness that we could really capitalise on as well as being able to bring in our own catering and other suppliers. The staff helped everything run smoothly, especially on the day, and all in all made the planning as easy as possible.
