About this space
The Bowling Green is flexible event space that can host an array of events such as weddings, corporate and private parties from spring till autumn every year (April-October). This versatile outdoor area was originally created for locals to practice the sport of Bowls, and comprising the Bowling Green Pavilion and Lawn, it is situated near the centre of Battersea Park just a stone's throw from the Victorian bandstand.
It is a large green area that can host events based on any theme as is fully customisable to accommodate diverse event needs, as it is possible to build temporary structures such as marquees or tents to provide shelter for events as well as to add outdoor furniture to create a more relaxed vibe.
A popular use for this space is to hire in food trucks or have a BBQ and, with stunning views of Battersea Power Station in the background, to relish a day at the park in the very midst of London!

About Battersea Park Venues
Battersea Park is a 200 acre Victorian park situated by the River Thames. It was built between 1854 and 1870 and features a riverside promenade, a large lake, many notable trees and ecological areas, children's play areas, a children's zoo and sports facilities. The park also accommodates an array of private events in areas such as the Pump House Gallery, the Bandstand as well as the Bowling Green.
The Bandstand is a public area within the park that can accommodate wedding ceremonies while the Pump House Gallery & Bowling Green can host private wedding receptions, corporate and private parties.
**All venues operate on a strictly dry hire basis, which would be exclusive to you and your party. All catering, florists, decorators, marquee and AV suppliers are not included in our venue hire. We have a fantastic list of recommended suppliers that can be shared with you, but you are also welcome to use your own suppliers. We do not charge a corkage fee.**
