About this space

The Mix is a Blank Canvas performance space in Rich Mix, defined by its adaptable black-box character.

Design: The space has a rectangular plan, a low-pitched ceiling with exposed ductwork, plain white walls and a dark resilient floor that keeps the central area uncluttered and visible.

Features: A built-in PA system and wall-mounted speakers provide in-room audio. A flexible inventory of folding tables and stackable chairs allows seated layouts or a cleared performance area. Wireless internet and air conditioning provide practical comfort. Natural light is available from windows, and organisers may bring their own DJ or play their own music. The room is wheelchair accessible and served by accessible toilets and a step-free guest entrance.

Ideal for: Independent arts groups and community organisations seeking a flexible, practical black-box space that can be arranged for seated presentations or cleared standing performances.

What guests say: The space provides clear sightlines and comfortable screening seating, and front-of-house staff are consistently professional and welcoming.
