About this space

Located in the Bussey Building at Copeland Park, this creative art café and workshop space is suitable for team events, workshops, birthdays, hen parties, leaving celebrations, and private group gatherings for 25 to 50 guests. The venue offers a welcoming setting with plenty of natural light, vintage details, and space for creative activities.

Private hire includes basic art materials, a hosted session, and refreshments with tea, coffee, and biscuits. Additional materials, guided workshops, drinks, and extra time can also be arranged. The venue is a short walk from Peckham Rye Station.

Our self-guided creative package starts from £12 per person, in addition to the venue hire fee (min 2-hours session).

The package includes access to watercolours, oil and soft pastels, charcoal, drawing materials and paper, alongside unlimited tea, French press coffee and biscuits.

Specialist materials and activities including acrylic painting, canvas boards, tote bags, pressed flowers, lino printing and facilitated workshops are available at an additional cost as upgrades,

• Alcohol is permitted only with prior approval. Alcohol must not be sold, and guests must drink responsibly.
• No open flames, candles, incense, smoke effects, aerosols, loose glitter or confetti without prior approval.
• Only agreed art materials may be used. Materials must remain within the designated creative areas.
• Decorations must be approved in advance. Do not use nails, screws, strong adhesives or anything that could mark the walls, floors or furniture.
• Furniture may be moved with prior approval and must be returned to its original position before departure.
• Fire exits and communal access routes must remain unobstructed at all times.
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the booking.
• Music must remain at a reasonable level. DJs, amplified live music and public or ticketed events require prior approval.
• Food, external catering, commercial filming and photography must be agreed in advance.
• Guests must finish their event, remove their belongings and leave the venue by the end of the booked period. Setup and pack-down must be completed within the agreed access times.
• Any damage to the venue, furniture, equipment or art materials beyond normal use may result in an additional charge.
• The organiser is responsible for the conduct of all guests and must follow instructions from the venue team.
