About this space

Shanghai Bar is a Bar in Hutong that pairs lantern-lit interiors with floor-to-ceiling windows and skyline views.

Design: The interior uses dark timber, patterned screens and red lanterns beneath a low bamboo-slat ceiling. The scheme combines polished stone floors and silk curtain accents for an intimate, refined appearance.

Features: A central wraparound bar provides an artisan cocktail menu and full bar service. The layout combines high tables, stools and standing space for mingling. Practical facilities include Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, wheelchair access, step-free entrance and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, drinks-led standing reception or an informal pre-dinner gathering in an intimate, polished setting.

What guests say: The Shanghai Bar is elegant and atmospheric with attentive, thoughtful staff. The space can experience slow service at peak times and has low lighting after dark.
