About this space

The DJ Studio at STU 22 is a soundproofed, sound-treated private DJ room in Wapping, East London, five minutes' walk from Wapping Overground. 35 GBP per hour, one-hour minimum.

Plug in and play. The room is set up with Denon DJ Prime decks on a STU 22 branded booth, two SOUNDBOKS Gen 4 speakers and oak slat acoustic walls. Nothing to hire, nothing to carry, nothing to patch.

Booked for DJ practice and rehearsals, scratching, livestreams and Boiler Room style sets, content filming, podcasts, spoken word and radio recording. Acoustic isolation means you can monitor at real level without disturbing anyone, at any hour.

It sits inside The Portal, alongside our Focusrite music production and recording studio at 50 GBP per hour. Take both rooms together for 70 GBP per hour and run the DJ set and the production session side by side.

Power, cleaning, studio operations and kitchen access with complimentary tea and coffee are included in every booking. No equipment fees, no facility fees. Rates exclude VAT at 20 percent.

Open 08:00 to 22:00 seven days a week, and The Portal holds a 24-hour premises licence so late-night and early-morning sessions can be arranged on request. The studio is on the first floor, free on-site parking is included, Wapping Overground is five minutes away and Shadwell DLR seven.

Pair it with the Blackout Studio or the Infinity Cove in the same building and shoot the visuals on the same day.
