About this space

Hire the whole of STU 22, a premium four-room photography, music and DJ studio in Wapping, East London, five minutes' walk from Wapping Overground. Exclusive use of the entire first floor, up to 200 people standing.

The four rooms:

The Infinity Cove. A professional all-white cyclorama, 16ft by 16ft with 12ft ceilings, for fashion, editorial, e-commerce, campaign and content work.

The Blackout Studio. A fully light-sealed matte black room, 26ft by 19ft with 12ft ceilings, for music videos, cinematic production, moody portraiture and product work.

The DJ Studio. A soundproofed DJ room with Denon DJ Prime decks, a STU 22 branded booth and two SOUNDBOKS Gen 4 speakers.

The Focusrite Music Studio. An official Focusrite partner room, acoustically treated and isolated, with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i16, ADAM Audio A77H monitors, a Novation 61SL MkIII, a Novation Circuit Rhythm and a RODE NT-USB.

Also on site: a kitchen and lounge with complimentary tea and coffee, and a make-up and changing area.

Booked for full production days, campaign shoots, launch events, brand activations, label days, wrap parties, workshops and multi-room content shoots where the shoot, the recording session and the social content all happen in the same building on the same day.

Included in every booking: power, cleaning, studio operations, basic lighting and grip, and kitchen access. No facility fees, no equipment fees. Free on-site parking is included. Full equipment upgrade available at 200 GBP per booking day.

Open 08:00 to 22:00 seven days a week, and The Portal holds a 24-hour premises licence so late-night and early-morning sessions can be arranged. The studio is on the first floor. Wapping Overground is five minutes away, Shadwell DLR seven, Shoreditch and Canary Wharf ten. Rated 5.0 out of 5 from more than 67 Google reviews. Rates exclude VAT at 20 percent.
