Spanning 21 square metres in total, First Studios is a chic, classy muted space with professional audio equipment and specialist acoustic design. Suitable for a wide range of media uses, including vocal and instrument recording, voiceover, ADR and audiobook recording, audio and video podcasts, photo and video shoots and more.

The studio offers a soundproof separate live room and control room space plus a PA/speaker system for monitoring and playback, and supports photo and video work with in-house backdrops including a green screen. Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, free tea and coffee, snacks and refreshments, a kitchen and a lounge area are available for guest comfort.

Walking into the space, the control room features in-house designed acoustic ceiling clouds and panels with acoustic panelling lining the wall. It spans 13 sq metres (139 square foot)
A high-ceiling live room lined in reclaimed-wood panelling with a carpeted floor that creates an intimate visual and close acoustic feel. A small window supplies daylight while LED uplighting and a lamp provide adjustable accent lighting for podcasts and video shoots.

Best for: Vocal and instrument recording, ADR and small-format music production, along with compact portrait, product or video shoots that need a treated, controllable space.

Me and my friend had a wonderful recording session with our sound technician. The space was very comfortable, nicely furnished and well equipped for recording vocals. The whole process was super efficient and Gabriel, our technician was very easy to communicate with and helped our idea come alive! We didn't have a lot of time to tweak our track to perfection since two of us recorded during a two hour session, but the quick mix and master was very nice for the time constraint. The technician also provided us the raw stems along with the edited ones in case we wanted to tweak them ourselves. I also have to appreciate the owner, Dave, for being super quick and helpful over messages with the booking and any other questions we had before arriving.

Nothing worth mentioning comes to mind.
