Private Bars Hire Guide

In The Calls, one of Leeds’ major party zones, you’ll find a number of diverse bars available for hire with a minimum spend and dry hire fees. These include function rooms that can be hired for private parties, as well as adaptable restaurants and dining halls with long bars and dance floor areas. Suitable for corporate events and landmark celebrations, minimum spend fees range between £500 to £2,000 per evening, while hire fees can be as low as £200, rising to £4,000 depending on the time and day of hire.

Elsewhere in Leeds City Centre and Holbeck Urban Village, you can rent some interesting venues in traditional locations, including pub mezzanines in listed buildings, old refectories with their own beers on tap, as well as bespoke disco rooms with dazzling cocktail bars. Again available for private hire, these unique bar spaces offer an interesting backdrop to hen and stag parties, engagement celebrations, and birthday bashes, as well as more private gatherings and office parties. Operating with flexible hire fees and minimum spend, pay up to £500 for evening hire, between £200 and £250 for mornings and afternoons, or £135 to £145 per hour.

How to hire cheap private bars in Leeds?

For one, booking online is usually a cheaper option–which is why hiring a space through Tagvenue is going to be a great, budget-friendly experience! Make sure to negotiate the offer with the host, and check what's included in the cost. Look out for any hidden fees! Although having a BYOB option at a bar might seem a little silly, you could always ask if you can bring your own snacks or external catering.

Booked Bar Area & Upstairs Lounge at Bar Delta
The location is lovely and inside it is beautiful, you don't have to decorate it much if hosting a party (50th Bday). My guests were complimenting the venue all night. It is nice that you can sit outside also. They have a small seating area upstairs which is really cosy. Will is very accommodating and I liked that the fee was only £100 and I was able to bring my own food in and you have full use of the kitchen, we also brought our own DJ. It was very relaxed and no pressure of having a bar spend. I looked at around 15 venues in Leeds City Centre and this one was by far the best. If you get chance to meet Karin she is lovely, she also looked after us on the night. Host your event there, you will not be disappointing.

Booked The Hepper Room at Iberica Leeds
We had the best visit to the Hepper Room for an event. The service in the lead up to the event was excellent, as was the service on the day. It worked perfectly being able to set up before hand and staff helping with the set up. They also had AV which made the event run smoothly. The food was fantastic and we had a great time. Cannot thank the staff enough and couldn't recommend any more!

Really good venue, great communication from the manager throughout the planning stages and really flexible with arrangements which makes planning a Christmas party for a big group so much easier. The bar had a great selection of drinks and the service was smooth throughout the night. Great music, lovely space and a really fantastic atmosphere.
