From my first interaction with the team at Cuckoo I knew I would be in good hands for my 30th birthday party. They were super responsive and helpful to any queries and questions I had all throughout the process and were really informative about what they could offer, making the party suit my needs exactly! The room was perfectly set up, and they kept food and drinks flowing throughout the evening. I was able to play my own music and they set us up some activities like beer pong and giant jenga which all the guests had a blast with. All the staff on the night itself were amazing, really kind and helpful and every one of my guests had such good feedback about how the night was run, the space and decor, the drinks and pizzas. Would definitely come back to Cuckoo for future events and highly recommend to anyone! Thank you all so much for making my birthday one to remember! I really couldn’t have asked for more!
From my first interaction, everyone we dealt with was so friendly and helpful - this really set Cuckcoo apart from other venues. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team made sure we had a great night. The decor in the venue is really fun and it just made for a great atmosphere. Also a special shout out to the barman James who was amazing and really added to the night!
Booked the Fairground 2 room out for a 40th party and it was a great night! The bar staff were great and served us all night super quickly and we're very patient as the night went on. I ordered pizzas which came out on perfect time and they kept replenishing until I'd reach the limit I paid for.
The only downside is I didn't realise could have made my own playlist, and although myself and the person who's party it was didn't realise due to socialising, the songs must have repeated themselves about 4 times in 2 hours as some of our guests mentioned it. By the time we realised it was abit late and we had issues connecting up to their WiFi. Although eventually the bar staff did get changed. My advice is for the venue is advise customers on maybe making their own playlist for the night so they are prepared. But the birthday boy had an amazing night!
The room itself was great. Loved the look of it and it was perfect for our party size! Great location, easy to get to.
We were a bit disappointed that there was no draught beer at our bar. This meant that people were going downstairs for it and therefore it wasn’t going against our minimum spend. It was also a surprise to us that bottled beer was nearly the same price as draught beer. The other thing that disappointed us was the fact that cash wasn’t accepted as we were not expecting that. Overall it was a good night but this is just a little feedback.

Cancellations 60 days to 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 30 days are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
