About this space

The Vault is the largest of the Private Dining Rooms, based just downstairs of the Main Bar area.

With a standing capacity of 50, this space can be used for a myriad of events. 50 friends? Bring them along for a Party and make use of the privately manned bar. Alternatively, use the 75" Flat Screen TV and AV equipment to connect your own audio and visual for a meeting or presentation- perfect for a daytime meeting or private event.

Both of our private rooms are kitted out with karaoke- browse over 10,000 songs and sing your heart out!

You can also add on both food and drinks packages! There are delicious food options including pizza and other nibbles, as well as drinks packages including beer, cider, wines, spirits, Prosecco or non-alcoholic options too!

I liked that I could put up my own decorations, staff left you to it, and the drinks were nice.

Staff didn’t seem to really know what was going on, I had the party booked in advance as well as a table booked beforehand. Messaged multiple times letting staff know I’d be arriving early to take decorations. I got there and staff took a few mins all talking to each other to figure out who I was and what I’d booked. Then when the karaoke started we had no microphones for the first 10-15 minutes. I had to ask at the bar and after that it took another 5 minutes. Then one of our party ordered a mocktail as she doesn’t drink for personal reasons, she made this very clear and was still given cocktails. To which staff replied “oh, they were meant to be mocktails?” Despite this being made clear. This was a great party venue but staff lacked common sense and urgency unfortunately. Other than this we had a great time.

Food was really nice, when it came out. Karaoke was great too.

Despite paying double the requested deposit, it felt like the venue was worried about being paid. I was initially told by the venue to just pay the deposit and the rest on the night. I actually paid double the requested deposit. Instead of this I got an email 2 days before with no invoice, to say I needed to pay another £800. I asked for invoice before paying and didn’t receive any reply. When arriving at the venue I was immediately chased, which was paid shortly after. As payment wasn’t received until the night it felt like the venue was really unprepared and unwilling to invest time until the balance was sorted. There wasn’t even a plate in the room, despite it being a buffet planned for 28 people and it felt like the food only started being made after payment. The food was also booked to come out at a certain time. I appreciate that a group of 28 is large, but it just came out sporadically for well over an hour and there wasn’t any organisation. Due to this and the limited bar range downstairs many people left the room to go upstairs and didn’t see most of the food. A lot of food was wasted. Our party also had some people with allergies and in my communication I was told this would all be sorted out started everything would be labelled. This didn’t happen and I had to chase several times. In the end I was having to log into a spreadsheet to see who had what allergy and run around the group saying don’t eat this/ that. I feel like I was really organised in getting all Information to the venue, but it was not reciprocated.
