About this space

The Ground floor workshop is specifically designed for artists and creators who work with large or noisy equipment and require a lot of space to create their art.

It offers 24/7 access through roller doors and a dedicated truck access for convenient transportation of materials. The space is suitable for creating large sculptural works, welding, spray painting, and assembling.

It features smooth concrete floors, skylights, and back windows that provide abundant natural light. Additionally, it includes eco-friendly features such as solar power, rainwater collection, and composting. The workshop shares communal amenities such as a kitchen and toilet with the upstairs studio occupant.

The workshop is located in a private area at the back of a factory lot, with direct truck access to the roller door. It is situated just 15 minutes north of the city centre and is in close proximity to Bunnings. The workshop has two carparks right outside, ample off-street parking, and is adjacent to the Darebin bike path.

The train station and bus stop are only a 10-minute walk away. This workshop space is ideal for those who want to get their hands dirty and unleash their creativity.
