The entirety of our funky Fitzroy venue is available for hire! 😎

With full bar setup, digital DJ equipment, vinyl turntables, projector, big screen TV, YouTube karaoke, live sound and lighting capabilities (for speeches, comedy, solo artists and duos), two private toilets, a stage, spacious booth seating, cosy front bar vibes with street-facing openable wall windows, a seated footpath smokers area and our funky main room with beautiful standing tables that fold down to create an amazing little dance floor for when cutting-a-rug comes calling as well as a full smart-lighting setup to create whichever vibe you wish 🪩💃🕺🪩

Happy to provide our drinks list upon request, and can also cater to custom requests such as personalised cocktails, specific wines etc 🍻🍹🍷

While we don't run a kitchen ourselves, outside food and catering is most welcome 😋🍲🌭🥧😋

Our venue is available for hire from 1PM all the way through until 3AM, making it one of the latest venues available in the area 🤩

No smoking or vaping inside the venue.

Outside alcohol is not permitted. Outside food however is most welcome.

No alcohol purchased from our venue is permitted outside past 11PM as per local laws.

We have an absolute zero-tolerance policy in regards to the abuse of our staff. Anyone found to be abusive will be asked to leave the venue immediately.

We practice the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Any patron deemed too intoxicated will be refused service and/or asked to leave the premises. Victorian liquor licensing fines apply to those refusing to follow directions.

I had the best birthday party ever at Sugar Glider - Will and Cors were amazing, welcoming, so flexible and helped us arrange everything we needed to have the best time. We had about 50-60 people for a private costume party - the lights and venue were amazing and gave the night such a good vibe. Decks, sound system, projector and everything worked perfectly - cannot recommend highly enough.

I had my 40th at Sugar Glider and I can not fault Will and the team. Will went above and beyond to ensure I had a magical time; right from our very first interaction he was just incredible. I had the best time, and I highly recommend this venue for any special occasion where unpretentious, funky FUN is the order of the day.
