About The Exchange
The Exchange is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.
The Exchange is a venue owned by Richmond Council and leased to St Mary’s University under an agreement that the building is used for a mixture of University use, Community Group use and public events. The Exchange is home to a 300-seat theatre, multi-purpose studio rooms available for hire, and a bar. It is directly opposite the entrance to Twickenham station.
We host a variety of public ticketed events in the theatre. These include films, author/spoken word events, programmed comedy, music and theatre.
The studio rooms are available for hire by local community groups, including young people’s performing arts classes, after-school clubs, and adult well-being and educational classes, as well as for private hire for training courses or meetings. Companies and groups are also able to hold full-day conferences using the theatre.

Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
