About National Maritime Museum
National Maritime Museum is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.
National Maritime Museum is a museum that presents Britain's naval and maritime history through the national collection, displayed across a grand neoclassical building.
Venue highlights: The museum's large exhibition galleries and neoclassical façade create a formal arrival sequence and clear circulation between rooms. Collections include a ship simulator, the floor-scale Great Map and an extensive range of artefacts and model ships that can be programmed into themed routes or interactive stations. A café and museum shop are onsite to support catering and retail needs during hires, and paid off‑site parking is available.
Best for: Corporate receptions and product launches, educational workshops and school group visits, family-focused group days and interactive learning events.
Location: Greenwich places the museum beside Greenwich Park and a short walk from the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Market, offering nearby outdoor space and cafés that guests can use before or after an event.
What guests say: The museum's galleries and exhibits engage visitors across age groups through hands-on displays such as the Great Map and the ship simulator. The venue supports group visits and event bookings, and the onsite café and shop provide straightforward catering and retail options during hires.
