Liquid Movement | Photography, Film, Exhibition & Event Space in East London

Liquid Movement is a beautifully finished, 1,100 sq ft industrial studio available for photography, filming, exhibitions and private events. With very high ceilings, an open layout and carefully considered interiors, the space combines industrial character with a high standard of finish.

The studio offers a versatile setting for fashion, beauty, product, portrait and lifestyle photography, alongside music videos, brand films and campaign content. Its roots as a movement studio also make it particularly well suited to wellness, fitness and activewear shoots. Generous ceiling height provides flexibility for lighting, backdrops and equipment, with the option to black out the space for greater control.

For exhibitions, launches and gatherings, Liquid provides a distinctive backdrop that can be adapted to your vision. Host an art or photography exhibition, brand activation, pop-up, workshop or private gathering. External catering and bring-your-own drinks can be arranged.

Sound is a central part of the Liquid experience. An excellent sound system, professionally tuned to the room, delivers an amazing listening experience, with a DJ booth available for music-led bookings. The space is particularly well suited to album launches, listening sessions, intimate music showcases, sound baths and sonic art installations, offering a considered setting for events where sound takes centre stage.

A studio manager and production assistant are on site, with additional support available by arrangement. Whether you need help setting up a shoot or assistance during your event, we’re happy to discuss what would make your booking run smoothly.

Founded by two queer women, Liquid Movement is an inclusive space with a strong connection to art, movement, music and community.
