The back room and garden are perfect if you’ve got a big crowd. There’s loads of room, plenty of seating, and a nice mix of open air and cosy corners. It’s great for birthdays, leaving dos, or just a big pizza and pint night with everyone you know.

About Royal Star

Royal Star is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

The Royal Star is a pub that combines exposed-brick, junkshop-style décor with a cocktail-led menu and global-inspired dishes.

Venue highlights: The venue provides an in-house kitchen and staffed service capable of producing tailored event menus for private hires. The layout is informal and flexible, permitting a mix of seated dining and standing reception-style arrangements. Paid off-site parking is available for guests.

Best for: Private dining, drinks receptions, informal celebrations

Location: City Road sits beside Regent's Canal and the surrounding streets contain a cluster of bars and restaurants that work well for pre- or post-event plans.

What guests say: The service is friendly and responsive, able to support group needs on busy evenings. The kitchen delivers reliably quick food, including popular pizzas and a Sunday roast, and can accommodate common dietary needs such as gluten-free pizza.
