The staff were great. My family and friends commented on how great the staff were. From the door staff who helped my mum, to the lady who helped us setting up (tables, chairs, water, AC, etc) and the guy who helped with the tech. The room was also great, the flexibility to decorate and do what we wanted was wonderful.
Genuinely nothing. Alice House is a favourite of ours anyway and they didn't disappoint with hosting our party either.

The Alice House was perfect. The vibe set just the right tone, of quirky, welcoming and creative. The team were very helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the event was as good as it can be. The food was delicious, just the right amount, tasty and value for money. The location is great as just next to the station. I’ll be booking more events here. I highly recommend.

The den at AH, West Hampstead was brilliant. The staff were excellent, Boris was highly accomodating and helpful. We had the option to pre-order food but didn't. On the night, even though there was a lot of us, we ordered food and were served swiftly. Great place and I had such a memorable 30th. The room had air conditioning so even though we were in the basement and the room was filled, we stayed nice and cool. Perfect size for 40 people. Felt busy in a good way. Not everyone was in the room at the same time (smokers, toilets etc). Awesome.
Music volume could've been louder but at its maximum it was still quieter than the people talking.

Wedding · 90 guests · May 2023 · Whole venue
The venue staff were fantastic. They were very accommodating and made our day go as seamlessly as possible, and even joined in with the dancing which added to the fun and energy of the night. Aaron managed our event and did a great job! He saved the pressed flowers from our cake and laminated them for us to keep which was a very special touch! All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, and there were lots of options to chose from. The venue worked really well as a wedding reception venue - we had a standing cocktail event with food served in a corner nook. There was a great space for DJ & dancing, with lots of quieter corners for people to sit down and chat, and some outside space as well. The music sound was great and we had a microphone for speeches as well as some live singing. Though it’s a central London venue, with easy transport links, the area didn’t feel crowded or busy and the security staff were good at keeping the venue for us and our guests.

'The venue manager Zac Burnell was amazing, he was very quick with responses, informative, friendly and accommodating. I needed to change the event days a week prior and we was able to sort this out for me within 30 mins of informing him. The venue was great, it comfortably fit 50 people and the staff were so lovely and helpful. I booked the venue for my partners surprise 30th birthday and we had an amazing night, the staff even helped us keep it a surprise from him right up to the moment. If I have another event I will book again.'
  • Triveni rated it 4.3/5 stars
'Very easy to set up and there were no issues with the booking. The space was perfect for the event. Zac and Caroline were the most accommodating, would definitely book this venue again!'
  • Shauna rated it 4.4/5 stars
'Zac was great in supporting me to book the venue by being quick to respond and patient with all my questions. The venue had a warm and inviting atmosphere, cute rustic decor meaning minimal decoration was needed and even a cute and clean bathroom for a quick photoshoot with the squad. In house dj had the whole place on their feet, the team were really friendly and helpful from the get go really reducing stress for me and giving their ideas on ideal set up. The venue is easy to get to (if trains are running) and not difficult to unload items. Would definitely hire again and would go back for a casual after work night out too'
