Great venue, lovely helpful staff and really good communication from all!

The pictures advertised is not what you get. The venue is in need of some TLC and needs refurbishing. All the sofas were dirty and worn out, furniture was dirty and we had to ask the room to be cleaned as there was sticky food all over the tables and chairs. The room also smelt bad and the toilets were also dirty. We asked the staff to clean the tables, chairs and toilets which they did but the room should have had a clean before we arrived. Pictures are misleading and this needs to be changed to reflect what the space actually looks like now not what it looked like when it was first decorated.
The staff were fantastic with all my preparations. No tasks were too small or too large. They did all to accommodate what I needed for my wife's surprise 50th birthday party. They catered for 90 people, and the food and service were second to none—a big shout-out to Emma, Steph and Zach. If you are considering booking an event space, ensure Heathcote & Star is your first stop. You will not regret it. My wife loved every minute of it. All my guests thought the night was fantastic. What are you waiting for? Go on and give them a call.
Spacious, comfortable, airy, control over sound system. Layout was good for eating, bar chat and dancing. It was easy for people to meet somebody they didn't know already. Mellow atmosphere. Good variety of seats and tables. Guests loved Krapow's vegan food. It was reassuring to see security staff doing the rounds. Everyone had a good time.
Little to dislike. It would be good to have USBC and / or bluetooth on sound system.

The venue can accommodate weddings with up to 100 seated guests and 200 standing. Couples have a choice of two beautiful function rooms to choose from. Located on the first floor, the Groove Room can accommodate between 75 and 200 guests and boasts gorgeous leaded Edwardian windows, high ceilings, and a sleek modern design. This versatile space has a private bar, toilets, exclusive sound system, and a large projector. The Pink Room is on the ground floor and features lovely herringbone wooden floors, large windows that flood the space with natural light, and stylish decor. This stunning space can accommodate 60 people standing and 30 for a seated meal.
