I was really disappointed by this venue. It looks great in the photos but since they were taken it's clearly been left to get filthy (even the chairs are dirty) and stacked with more and more junk so that it's hard to find a clear space to shoot in. We spent the first 45 mins of our time lugging heavy furniture to clear a couple of usable spaces. The dressing room doesn't have good light as shown, nor functional mirrors. On top of this we were left on the doorstep waiting for 20 mins when we arrived. We were then offered an extra 30-40 mins on the end of our booking but our people weren't available to stay later so we lost that valuable time. Then on top of that had to spend time lugging furniture. It's also upstairs from a garage so the sound is terrible and a lot of the footage we took is unusable due to sound (if we'd waited for quiet we'd have been waiting all day) The listing states there's tea and coffee available which there was, but no mugs only paper cups and milk in the fridge that had gone rancid. There were no hand towels and the toilet doors don't close. I'm sure this was once a beautiful venue but it needs a lot of work and care to get it back to the standard shown in the photographs.

Belt Craft Studios is an amazing space with very cool props and furnishings. Everything looked great on camera and the space offers lots of variety for film background. The venue owners were very responsive and we were well looked after. We will definitely look to film here again for future projects.
The venue is next to a garage it was quite noisy at some parts of the day. Quiet isn't promised in the listing, but something to bear in mind if you're recording with sound. The venue is quite cold without the heating on, but the heater is quite noisy so you definitely need to wrap up in the colder months! The complimentary amenities need to be restocked and more mugs/ glasses etc.

Belt Craft Studios is a 2600 sq ft photography and film location space in a converted former textile factory that oozes character and charm.

Comprising an open plan main space with numerous alcoves, different shooting areas and textured backgrounds, the space has been stripped back to original aged brickwork, a peeling paint wooden ceiling and distressed with aged wooden flooring.

The space has an abundance of natural light with large windows running around two-thirds of the perimeter. We have a large prop selection that is being constantly updated with various items and furniture.
