Beautiful location to host a party in the boathouse, food was lovely
Absolutely terrible management team, bad communication, no coordination between the office and the event manager on the night, who knew nothing of the brief I’d been through in detail with the sales and event manager beforehand. There was clearly no handover prior to the event. Drinks were mismanaged, pre paid drinks were not served as agreed, my family members had to go around serving on the night as the hotel didn’t provide anyone, despite a hefty service fee being charged. No transparency with billing or detailed receipt given for drinks charged. When I tried to call to ask questions and to give feedback the receptionist told me she couldn’t give me the hotel manager’s name and put the phone down! Incredibly rude and such a shame that the management are so awful at such a beautiful venue. Trying to follow up on email has given zero response even 5 days after the event. It’s a disgrace.
