Staff were great and accommodating. Venue staff opened the venue when it was needed and (unfortunately) stayed later than expected as our clean up time took longer. Everything was accessible for us and we received help when needed.

About Magdalen Hall

Magdalen Hall Tenants and Residents Association is run by a committee of volunteers from the estates of St. Saviours, Purbrook & Aylwin (over 700 homes). We are governed by our Constitution and elections are held yearly at our Annual General Meeting on the last Thursday of July. The main aims of the association are to represent the tenants and residents of the estates (members) to Southwark Council promoting their rights, encourage and improve community spirit by providing a space for recreation and events, to improve the living conditions and standards for all our members and to promote the harmonious functioning in our diverse community; working towards the elimination of all forms of racism and discrimination within it.

We manage and run the beautiful Magdalen Hall, located a stone throw away from Tower Bridge, with London Bridge, a major transportation hub nearby. It has a spacious hall for rent with a stage for parties, functions, classes and theatre productions; supplemented by two bars at modest prices and discounts for members (tenants and residents of the estates). All are welcome to join us at this wonderful venue. We take pride in our community and promote diversity, tolerance and equality.
