About HI New York City

HI New York City is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

HI New York City is a hostel housed in a red‑brick townhouse that mixes dorm‑style accommodation with dedicated communal social spaces.

Venue highlights: A sunken patio and garden provide an outdoor area for socialising and alfresco refreshments. An on-site café-bar and communal lounge supply indoor seating and casual catering options for group gatherings. Hostel staff run organised activities and can support group social programmes.

Best for: Backpacker and traveller group meet-ups, student or youth group gatherings, informal social receptions for tour groups.

Location: The Upper West Side sits beside Central Park and provides easy access to parkland for photos or walks. The neighbourhood also offers a wide choice of cafés and restaurants for pre- or post-event dining.

What guests say: Lockers and individual bed curtains provide secure storage and personal privacy within the dorms. Reception staff rearrange room allocations to keep groups together when needed.
