About this space

Studio 120 🗽 by 503DTLA has recently been upgraded to provide a versatile creative space. The studio features a white cyclorama (cyc) wall, south-facing windows for abundant natural light, and comes with free lighting and equipment. Conveniently located just minutes from the Grand and Montrose L Train metro stops, it also offers air conditioning and heating, a motorized paper backdrop station, Bluetooth speaker, and a textured backdrop station with all colors available at no extra cost. A comfortable living room set is included for additional flexibility.

Additional amenities include a professional hair and make-up vanity, changing room, blackout curtains, mirror, clothing rack, steamer, stool, and keypad entry. The studio is three blocks from CSI Rentals in Brooklyn.

Free lighting and equipment available with your rental: Nanlite Forza FS300 LED Continuous Light, Westcott FJ400 Strobe (trigger not included), two Neewer 60W RGB LED Video Lights, Phottix softboxes (26”, 47” deep, 32” x 47”), Profoto shallow white umbrellas, 22” beauty dish, snoot, 43” reflectors (translucent, silver, gold, white, black), Neewer clamshell reflector, V-flats, C-stands, stationary stands, AV cart, sandbags, apple boxes, and a 3-step ladder.

Guests may enjoy meals in the first-floor meeting room (if available) or the courtyard. All studio furniture and equipment must remain inside the space, and common areas are off-limits for production use unless approved in advance. Please note that while the building is generally quiet, studio walls are not soundproof and nearby tenants may occasionally be heard.

Please note that some rules can be waived by purchasing rule waivers as an add-on.

Shoe Covers are provided and must be worn on the Cyc Wall by all guests EXCEPT TALENT WHILE SHOOTING.
Do not step or put anything on the bottom curved portion of the Cyc Wall.
If you arrive late for your booking and the Guest before you stays late, then you are not eligible for a refund or extra time for the time when you were not in the studio.
Guests must clean and reset the space after their booking.
Guests must take all excess trash that does not fit into the trash with them before they leave.
Do not cut backdrop paper without permission. We will charge for any tears or rips to the backdrops.
Do not retract backdrop on motorized rack beyond the red arrow. It will get stuck.

No Smoking
No Alcohol: Purchase add-on to waive this rule.

Do Not Disturb Neighbors: The booking will be canceled without a refund if you receive a noise complaint or if the neighbors communicate a disturbance to the host.

No Eating/Drinking: Water is allowed. Purchase add-on to waive this rule. You can eat on the benches outside for free.
Notify host before booking if you are planing a sexually explicit shoot.
Ring camera(s) record video in non-private areas for claims, overages, safety, and rule enforcement. Audio is not recorded.

Host reserves the right to charge a fine of up to $250 for any rules that are broken.

Your booking will be canceled without a refund if you violate any of these rules. The host also reserves the right to charge a fee after your booking if any of these rules are violated. Please ask the host if there are any rules that you would like waived.
