About this space

Rooftop is a private outdoor space in the Edison Ballroom that serves as a versatile, elevated terrace with an open-plan layout suited to flexible event setups.

Design: The rooftop presents an industrial-modern aesthetic with a metal slatted ceiling, exposed ductwork and ceiling fans. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, a pale polished concrete floor and string lighting keep the visual palette clean and contemporary.

Features: A built-in PA system and speakers support background music and live sound. Hosts may bring their own DJ or play their own playlists, and the layout includes a defined dance area and movable tables. Step-free guest access and accessible toilets are provided, and onsite event staff support production and logistics.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, social standing reception that allows mingling and dancing, or an adaptable layout for informal seated dining.

What sets it apart: A fully retractable roof lets the space switch between open-air and covered configurations during an event.

What guests say: The rooftop has warm, responsive event staff and reliable production support. The space features Deco-influenced touches and effective lighting for evening use.
