About this space

The Edison Ballroom is a multi-level Art Deco venue centred on a restored 1930s ballroom, characterised by ornate period finishes, crystal chandeliers and period detailing.

Design: The interior displays 1930s Art Deco detailing in warm gold-and-silver tones, plush leather walling and illuminated glass tiles. The layout pairs a double-height main floor with a surrounding mezzanine and smaller private lounges on the upper level.

Features: The venue comprises a main ballroom, a South Ballroom and an upper-level Chandelier Room; the Chandelier Room is an intimate private lounge included with bookings. The venue provides large-scale LED video walls, integrated professional lighting and state-of-the-art AV as standard. The venue also supplies in-house catering led by Chef Mina Newman, full bar service and on-site production support, with private tours available.

Ideal for: Event organisers seeking a production-ready, formally finished space will find it suitable for standing receptions or seated multi-course dinners.

What sets it apart: A rooftop features a fully retractable roof that enables genuinely open-air events above the main spaces.

What guests say: The venue's event team provides attentive, full-service production and front-of-house support. The venue's catering consistently receives praise for high-quality food across cocktail service and seated dinners.
