Stage 3 – Daylight Cyc Studio at Hubble Studio

About this space

Stage 3 at Hubble Studio is a daylight white cyc photo and video studio in Downtown Los Angeles, just outside the Arts District, with a seamless cyclorama wall, a skylight and recessed lighting, white walls, polished concrete floors, 200 amps of power, a roll-up door for drive-in load-in and on-site parking. Built for fashion and e-commerce photography, interviews, content creation, small commercials and brand shoots.

NOTE: The published rate is for photo shoots only. Filming is $183 per hour with a 12-hour minimum. A $300 sanitation fee applies to all bookings.

THE STAGE
A professional white cyc wall with a clean floor sweep, lit by a grid of recessed fixtures and a skylight that brings natural light onto set. White walls and a white ceiling keep the light soft and even, so a photographer can work with the room's own light or go full strobe. The open floor plan leaves room for stands, carts and crew, and high ceilings give space for overhead rigging and booms.

POWER, LOAD-IN AND PARKING
200 amps of power for strobes, LEDs and a video package. Roll-up door for drive-in load-in of gear, racks and set pieces. On-site parking and a Bose speaker for playback.

HAIR, MAKEUP AND CLIENT AREA
A rolling makeup station with a lit vanity mirror and tall director's chairs sits right on the floor, so talent never leaves the stage between looks, with clothing racks, a steamer, an iron and a rolling full-length mirror. A glass conference table with six rolling office chairs and a lounge seating area sit close to set for client review.

GOOD FOR
Fashion and editorial photography, product and e-commerce, lookbooks, headshots, interviews, podcasts, content creation, small commercials, brand content and castings.

Stage 3 is the most affordable cyc stage at Hubble Studio, a good fit for smaller crews and half-day shoots. Additional stages and full-building buyouts are available on request. Hubble Studio has four stages under one roof in Downtown LA.
