The Baronial Dining Room provides an elegant and intimate setting for meetings or private dinners.

Adjacent to the Baronial Hall, and benefitting from its own kitchen for the provision of hot and cold refreshments throughout the day, the Dining Room was once used by the staff of Chetham’s College whilst students ate in the main Hall.

Now opened into a striking space, with views through leaded windows towards the contrasting New School Building, the Dining Room provides an ideal setting for meetings, dining, or breakouts from larger events.

The grade I listed building dates to 1421 and is one of the oldest in Manchester, making it perfect for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts or those looking for somewhere unique. Our collection of books is used by researchers from around the world and we’re an accredited museum.
